A Letter from the Director

To whom it may concern, 

When I consider the 28 years of Encounter’s existence, my heart is encouraged with the way God has faithfully provided exactly what we have needed at exactly the right time. A prime example of this is the addition of Bailey and Alyssa Farrell to our staff. Having known Bailey and Alyssa since they were children and having them for multiple years on the Encounter team, it has been my privilege to see them grow and mature into Christ-followers with a heart for proclaiming God’s Word for His glory and the good of others. 

As Bailey and Alyssa transition from their current ministry to Encounter, they will share all of the details with you. From my perspective, they will greatly enhance our ability to fulfill our mission of proclaiming God’s Word for the purpose of life-change. Initially we plan for Bailey to be the Team Director, handling many of the details related to their ministry and discipleship both at the camp and as they travel to churches and schools. 

As you consider partnering with them in ministry through prayer and support, I believe you will be making a great investment for the cause of Christ. May the Lord use your partnership in a powerful way!
